We're celebrating National Cocktail Day with this cider-based spring cocktail!
makes 1 drink
1 1/2 oz bourbon
3/4 oz fresh lemon juice
2 tsp or bar spoons of ginger syrup
2 oz cider (barrel-aged if you can find it)
2 dashes orange bitters
Orange peel, for garnish
Add all ingredients to a lowball glass and stir. Add a large ice cube and garnish with the orange peel.
